| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents multiple horizontal registers of Kufic Arabic script arranged within a double linear inner border, naming the Abbasid caliph al-Muqtadir billah and the Sajid amir Yusuf ibn Diwdad. The field is dominated by the citation of political and religious authority in the characteristic layered format of Abbasid-period dinars. A circular marginal legend in Kufic script occupies the outer border, containing the Quranic Ikhlas verse (Surah 112). The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hand-struck Islamic gold coinage of the early 4th century AH. |
