Obverse description Central field depicts a stylized standing figure in frontal posture, rendered in the characteristic flat, linear style of medieval Indian coinage. The figure appears robed and is flanked by decorative foliate or scrollwork elements on either side. The design is executed in low relief with bold, simplified forms typical of Chauhan dynastic gold coinage. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border. The artistic treatment reflects the late Shahi tradition adapted by the Chauhan rulers of Ajmer.
