| Beschrijving voorzijde | Irregular hammered gold flan bearing a central field of multi-line Arabic Kufic legend arranged in horizontal registers within a plain inner circle. The central inscription contains the Shahada and mint-and-date formula. A marginal legend in cursive Arabic script encircles the field, reading continuously around the coin's periphery. The overall design is typical of Seljuq-period Islamic dinars, with no figural imagery, the entire surface devoted to religious and dynastic epigraphy in fine calligraphic style. |
