Obverse description Central field bears a multi-line Arabic inscription in relief, executed in a bold Naskh script characteristic of Jalayirid coinage. The legend references the ruling Sultan Ahmad, with titles reading broadly as 'Sultan al-A'zam' (the Supreme Sultan) and 'Sultan Ahmad', arranged in three horizontal lines across the flan. The flan is irregularly shaped as typical of hammered medieval Islamic coinage, with surface patination consistent with age. A marginal legend or partial border inscription is visible at the periphery, partially off-flan.
