The composition is rendered in the Byzantine hierarchical style characteristic of medieval Serbian coinage. A divided Cyrillic legend appears in the fields to either side of the figures, identifying the emperor by title. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Christ Pantocrator is depicted enthroned in full frontal majesty, seated upon a high-backed throne with visible armrests, his nimbus rendered with radiating lines in the Byzantine tradition. He holds the Book of Gospels before him with both hands. The figure is rendered in the flat, hieratic style typical of mid-14th-century Serbian hammered silver coinage, with a beaded border encircling the entire field. The coin image shown corresponds to this reverse type. |
