The cross divides the field into four quarters, each containing a small pellet or decorative element. A partial Cyrillic legend reading ДЄCΠOT CTЄΦA (Despot Stefan) runs around the periphery, partially visible along the coin's irregular flan. The overall style is characteristic of late medieval Serbian hammered coinage. |
