Obverse description Central cross pattée with pellets in each angle, set within a beaded inner circle. The cross divides the field into four quarters, each containing a small pellet or decorative element. A partial Cyrillic legend reading ДЄCΠOT CTЄΦA (Despot Stefan) runs around the periphery, partially visible along the coin's irregular flan. The overall style is characteristic of late medieval Serbian hammered coinage.

Reverse description A displayed double-headed eagle occupying the central field, its two heads turned outward to either side, with wings spread symmetrically. The heraldic eagle is rendered in the characteristic style of medieval Serbian despot coinage, with boldly struck feather detail visible on the broad wings. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, as typical of hammered issues of the period. The field around the eagle is largely plain, with no visible additional legend or mintmark.
