| Beschrijving keerzijde | A stepped fire altar with ribbons or streamers issuing from its sides occupies the center of the field, with stylized flames rising from the altar bowl. Two royal attendants flank the altar in profile, each wearing a mural crown; the left attendant additionally bears a korymbos. Subsidiary symbols appear in the field flanking the flames, characteristic of early Shapur II coinage. A Pahlavi inscription surrounds the scene within a beaded border, identifying the regnal year and mint. The composition follows established Sasanian iconographic convention emphasizing Zoroastrian sacred fire imagery. |
