Obverse description Effigy of Shapur I (Shahpur I) facing right, depicted with a draped bust surmounted by a mural tiara fitted with an ear flap and the characteristic korymbos hair bundle. A single pellet appears above the diadem ties, with two pellets positioned below, serving as distinctive die-identification marks.
