| Beschrijving keerzijde | A tall, stepped Zoroastrian fire altar with a flaming brazier occupies the center of the field. Flanking the altar stand two attendant figures, each wearing a crenellated crown, facing inward toward the sacred flame and grasping the altar with one hand; both figures are draped and rendered in the Sasanian court style. Inscriptional Pahlavi legends appear in the left and right fields, recording the king's name and titles. A single pellet appears at the base of the altar. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border, consistent with early Sasanian gold coinage. |
