| 背面描述 | The reverse is similarly covered with multiple horizontal lines of bold raised Arabic inscription in the Mamluk epigraphic tradition, occupying virtually the entire field. The legends contain religious formulae and the regnal titles of Sultan Sayf al-Din Sha'ban I, along with the mint name al-Qahira (Cairo) and the date of issue expressed in the Islamic Hijri calendar. A partial inner circle or linear border is faintly discernible near the edge, separating the central inscriptional field from the coin's irregular periphery. The calligraphy is vigorous and deeply struck, consistent with the high-relief hammered gold dinars produced under the Bahri Mamluk sultans. The overall composition follows the established Mamluk convention of purely epigraphic coinage, devoid of figural imagery. |
