The shahada and related pious formulae fill the central area in a dense, multi-line arrangement. A circular marginal legend in cursive Naskhi script runs around the periphery of the coin, separated from the central field by a raised linear border. The flan is irregular and slightly buckled, characteristic of hammered medieval Islamic dinars. |
