| Beschrijving keerzijde | The goddess Lakshmi is depicted seated facing on a lotus throne in the centre of the coin. She is shown in a frontal posture consistent with classical Gupta iconographic convention, her divine attributes rendered with fine hammered relief. A Brahmi legend encircles the central device within the field, bearing the royal epithet of the issuing king. The reverse design is typical of the Gupta archer type coinage, emphasising the ruler's devotion to the goddess of prosperity and auspiciousness. The lotus seat and surrounding legend together frame the composition in a harmonious and ceremonially significant arrangement. |
