Beschrijving voorzijde Bust of Khusro II facing right, wearing an elaborate mural crown adorned with a frontal crescent and two wings surmounted by a star-in-crescent device. Fillets fall over each shoulder, with an additional crescent over the right shoulder. The crown is flanked on either side by a star and a star-in-crescent motif, characteristic of late Sasanian royal iconography. The effigy is rendered in the high-relief hammered style typical of Sasanian gold coinage, with strong linear detailing. An inscription in Inscriptional Pahlavi occupies the surrounding field, reading in translation: 'Khusrau, king of kings, has increased the royal glory.'

Beschrijving keerzijde Frontal bust of the goddess Anahita set within a flame nimbus, a hallmark of Sasanian religious imagery associating royal legitimacy with divine fire. The facing portrait is rendered in the stylized Sasanian tradition, with a nimbus of radiating flames encircling the head. A two-part Pahlavi legend surrounds the central device: at the 11 o'clock position 'GDH 'pzwty' and at the 2 o'clock position 'hwslwb MLKAn MLKA', translating as '[Khusrau] has increased Iran, [Khusrau is] well omened.' The reverse composition is consistent with Göbl type III/4 Sasanian dinar issues dated to regnal year 22 (AD 611).
