The legend records the names and royal titles of the three joint sultans — Kaya'us II, Qilij Arslan IV, and Kayqubad II — along with their honorific epithets and a reference to the Abbasid Caliph as suzerain. The bold, tightly packed calligraphy extends nearly to the coin's irregular edge, consistent with the hammered gold dinar tradition of the Sultanate of Rûm. No figurative imagery is present, in accordance with Seljuk epigraphic coinage conventions. |
