| Beschrijving keerzijde | Fire altar with pendant ribbons depicted at center, flanked on each side by a standing attendant in profile, a composition characteristic of Sasanian royal coinage. Flames rise from the altar top, with a star and crescent motif flanking the flames in the field. The Inscriptional Pahlavi regnal year notation 'y'č' appears at left, and the mint abbreviation '6 'yl' for the AYL (Susa) mint appears at right. The design is enclosed within a double border, executed in the hammered technique typical of late Sasanian gold coinage. |
