| Beschrijving keerzijde | Fully epigraphic design featuring multiple horizontal lines of Arabic script filling the central field, recording the name and honorific titles of the Zengid ruler Imad al-Din together with acknowledgment of Abbasid suzerainty. The legends are arranged in a stacked, multi-register format consistent with Zengid dinar types of the early 13th century. A concentric marginal inscription runs within the border of the coin, partially obscured by the irregular flan edge. The bold, angular letterforms are characteristic of the hammered production technique employed at provincial Zengid mints. The overall style closely parallels other Shahrazur-mint issues of the period. |
