Reverse description Central field carries a multi-line Arabic legend within a pointed cartouche, recording the mint name, the hijri date of issue, and the names of the four Orthodox Caliphs (Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali), affirming Sunni allegiance following Abu Sa'id's conversion. The word 'ضرب' (struck) appears prominently at the top of the central panel. A marginal inscription encircles the field, separated by a beaded inner border. The outer rim is finished with a continuous raised bead border consistent with the obverse. The reverse follows the standard Ilkhanid dinar format established under Abu Sa'id after 1319.
