Obverse description Central field dominated by a multi-line Arabic legend arranged within a decorative cartouche, bearing the Shahada (Islamic profession of faith) and the name and title of the Ilkhan ruler Abu Sa'id Bahadur Khan. The inscription is executed in angular Kufic-influenced script characteristic of Ilkhanid coinage. A secondary marginal legend encircles the central panel, separated by a beaded inner border. The outer rim is defined by a prominent raised bead border. The overall design reflects the established Ilkhanid epigraphic coinage tradition, with no figural imagery.
