背面描述 Reverse field filled with horizontal registers of Kufic Arabic inscription within a beaded or plain border, following the standard Aghlabid formula for gold coinage. The legend references the Prophet Muhammad and the ruling authority, consistent with Abbasid-influenced dinar types struck in Ifriqiya during Ibrahim II's reign (261–289 AH). No imagery, symbols, or decorative elements are present, reflecting strict adherence to Islamic aniconism. The hammered flan displays characteristic irregular edges and slight curvature. The script is angular Kufic, boldly struck and legible across multiple lines.

附加信息

Ibrahim II ruled the Aghlabid emirate from 875 until his abdication in 902, when he renounced power and joined a military campaign against the Byzantines in Sicily, dying at the siege of Cosenza shortly after. His reign was marked by internal brutality — medieval chroniclers recorded systematic purges of rivals and family members — but also genuine administrative consolidation that kept Ifriqiyan gold coinage remarkably stable in weight and fineness throughout the period.
