| Beschrijving keerzijde | A stepped fire altar occupies the center of the reverse, its shaft adorned with hanging ribbons; rising from the flames above the altar is a bust of Ahura Mazda facing left, rendered in profile. Two royal attendants flank the altar, each bearing a sword; the figure to the left wears an eagle crown with korymbos, while the attendant to the right wears a mural crown with korymbos. A Pahlavi legend is distributed in the field on either side of the altar group, with additional inscription elements completing the reverse design in keeping with standard Sasanian royal gold coinage conventions. |
