Obverse description Full-length frontal figure of Stefan Lazarević standing in field, depicted in regal attire, holding a labarum (staff-cross) in his right hand; a trefoil ornament appears to the right of the figure. The surrounding legend reads CONTE • S • TEFAN in Latin characters, identifying the ruler by his title and name. The style is characteristic of medieval Serbian hammered coinage, with a flat, somewhat irregular flan and bold, schematic rendering of the figural type.

Reverse description Facing nimbate bust of Christ within a beaded inner border, rendered in the Byzantine iconographic tradition with a cruciform nimbus. The face is depicted frontally with schematic features typical of medieval Serbian die-cutting. The surrounding legend in Latin characters reads + ICZVZ - C[RIZT]VZ, a Latinized inscription of 'Iesus Christus'. The overall style reflects strong Byzantine influence in both iconography and epigraphy.
