| Obverse description | Facing effigy of Queen Buran wearing a winged circular crown surmounted by a globus and crescent flanked by two floral ornaments, with elaborate bunches of hair falling at the sides. Two stars appear at either side of the head, with a star and crescent motif on each shoulder. The royal garment is richly adorned with jewelled decoration. A circular Inscriptional Pahlavi legend frames the entire design. |
