| Obverse description | Draped bust of Queen Boran facing right, wearing an elaborate round crown surmounted by outspread wings enclosing a crescent and globe finial. The queen is adorned with pendant earrings and a beaded necklace; a crescent-and-star device appears on the robe at the shoulder, a characteristic Sasanian royal emblem. The effigy is rendered in the conventional late Sasanian style with fine linear detail. |
