Reverse description A fire altar depicted centrally, flanked on each side by a standing royal attendant in Sasanian court dress, each facing inward toward the altar's flames. Three pellets and a fravahr symbol in the form of a wreath are positioned flanking the sacred flames above the altar table, rendered in the formal Sasanian religious iconographic tradition typical of dinar coinage of the period.
