Obverse description Central field bears a multi-line Arabic inscription in bold, deeply struck Naskh script reading 'Ali Sultan' above and 'Allah' below, with additional honorific epithets partially visible in the field. The lettering is characteristic of Chagatai Khanate coinage of the mid-14th century, with broad, raised strokes occupying most of the flan. The irregular, roughly circular flan shows typical characteristics of hammered silver production, with slightly uneven surfaces and natural flow lines around the legend.
