| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field contains multiple lines of Arabic Kufic script arranged horizontally within a beaded inner circle, recording the caliph's name, titles, and the Shahada or related religious formulae. A circular marginal legend in Arabic script is contained between two beaded borders. The script style is characteristic of Abbasid Kufic calligraphy of the mid-4th century AH, with angular letter forms densely packed within the available field. The reverse follows the standard Abbasid epigraphic dinar format established under the coinage reform tradition. |
