Obverse description Hammered gold dinar featuring multiple lines of Arabic Kufic and cursive inscription arranged in horizontal registers across the central field, enclosed within a circular marginal legend. The central area displays the kalima (Islamic profession of faith) and the caliph's name and titles in characteristic Abbasid epigraphic style. The marginal legend runs along the inner border, separated from the central text by a decorative inner circle. The overall design is purely epigraphic, with no figurative elements, consistent with orthodox Islamic numismatic tradition.
