| Reverse description | Reverse field similarly structured with concentric circles of Kufic Arabic inscriptions in hammered relief, centred on a raised pellet within a plain inner ring. The inner bands bear Quranic verses and Ismaili Shi'a religious formulae affirming the legitimacy of the Fatimid imamate. An intermediate band carries additional titles and invocations, while the outermost circular marginal legend records the mint name Al-Mansuriya and the year of issue. The lettering is finely struck in bold Kufic script, consistent with the high-purity gold coinage of the early Fatimid period. |
