ʿAdil Sultan ruled the Chagatai Khanate for a window of roughly two years before being deposed, one of the many puppet khans cycled through power by the Dughlat amirs who effectively controlled the western Chagatai territories in this period. Coins in his name are correspondingly rare — short reigns meant limited mint output, and the fractional denominations least likely to survive.
