Opmerkingen

Tunisia's half-dinar denomination was already being phased toward irrelevance by 1973 — inflation was eating into its practical purchasing power even as the note was being issued. De La Rue's production for the Banque Centrale de Tunisie during this period was technically competent but conservative, relying on intaglio-printed surface detail and a relatively modest watermark as the primary security measure at a time when more sophisticated features were becoming available.

Pick 69 is the second and final type in this short half-dinar series, superseded within a few years as the denomination was effectively abandoned in paper form.
