| 正面描述 | Cult statue of Aphrodite Aineias standing to right, extending her right hand forward to hold an aphlaston; a long sceptre surmounted by a dove standing right rises to her left, and the forepart of a stag to right appears in the background behind the figure. The entire composition is enclosed within a laurel wreath border, lending the design a votive, shrine-like character consistent with the goddess's local veneration at Leukas. |

Leukas, a Corinthian colony on the Akarnanian coast, continued striking silver coinage well into the second century BC despite the Roman settlement of Greek affairs after Pydna in 168 BC, which stripped much of the region's political autonomy. The magistrate name Sotion appears on a limited run within this late series catalogued by Callataÿ, placing this piece among the final decades of independent civic coinage from the island before Roman administrative pressure rendered local silver issues economically redundant.
