| Obverse description | Cult statue of Aphrodite Aineias depicted standing to right, her extended right hand presenting an aphlaston; a long sceptre surmounted by a dove standing right is positioned to her left, while a grain ear appears to the right. A stag moving right occupies the background behind the figure. The entire composition is enclosed within a laurel wreath, rendered in fine relief characteristic of late Hellenistic Akarnanien coinage. |
