Obverse description Cult statue of Aphrodite Aineias depicted standing to right, her extended right hand presenting an aphlaston; a long sceptre surmounted by a dove standing right is positioned to her left, while a grain ear appears to the right. A stag moving right occupies the background behind the figure. The entire composition is enclosed within a laurel wreath, rendered in fine relief characteristic of late Hellenistic Akarnanien coinage.

Reverse description A ship's prow oriented to the right, rendered in detailed relief with oar-banks and keel timbers visible, occupies the lower portion of the field. A Heraklean club is placed before the prow. Above, the ethnic legend ΛEYKAΔIΩN appears on the upper line, with the magistrate's name ΔΙΑΚΡΙΤΟΣ inscribed on the second line, both in Greek characters, identifying the issuing city of Leukas and the responsible official.
