| 裏面の説明 | A fully open rose with stem and one lateral bud to the right, the civic emblem of Rhodes, occupies the central field. The magistrate's name ΑΝΤΙΠΑΤΡΟΣ is inscribed above in Greek letters, while the city ethnic Ρ and Ο appear on either side of the stalk. A grain ear is depicted to the left of the stem, serving as an additional control symbol. The composition is well-centered within the irregular flan, with all devices executed in the crisp, incuse style typical of early Hellenistic Rhodian coinage. |
