Obverse description Radiate head of Helios rendered in three-quarter facing view, turned slightly to the right, with flowing, wind-swept hair arranged in thick locks framing the face. The deity's youthful and idealized features are modeled in high relief, characteristic of the accomplished Rhodian die-cutting tradition. The forehead is broad, and the eyes are rendered with naturalistic depth. No legend appears on the obverse, the entire flan being dominated by the powerful frontal effigy.

Reverse description A fully open rose with stem and one lateral bud to the right, the civic emblem of Rhodes, occupies the central field. The magistrate's name ΑΝΤΙΠΑΤΡΟΣ is inscribed above in Greek letters, while the city ethnic Ρ and Ο appear on either side of the stalk. A grain ear is depicted to the left of the stem, serving as an additional control symbol. The composition is well-centered within the irregular flan, with all devices executed in the crisp, incuse style typical of early Hellenistic Rhodian coinage.
