Obverse description Forepart of a horse prancing to the left, rendered in archaic Greek style with muscular definition and a flowing mane. The animal is depicted in three-quarter view with the forelegs raised and bent, conveying dynamic movement. The design is set within a dotted border encircling the flan, typical of Thracian coinage of this period. The field is flat and unadorned, with the horse as the sole decorative element. The striking is bold and deeply modeled, characteristic of early Macedonian and Thracian silver issues.
