| Beschrijving voorzijde | Head of Athena facing right, wearing a crested Attic helmet adorned with an olive wreath on the bowl; the helmet's tall crest is rendered with finely engraved radiating lines suggesting a rich plume, and the cheek-guards are partly raised. The hair falls in tightly curled locks beneath the helmet rim. The execution is in the refined late Archaic to early Classical South Italian style, displaying considerable attention to facial modelling and decorative detail. No legend appears in the field. |

Above the bull, the ethnic legend KAMΠANON is inscribed in Greek characters reading from left to right across the upper field. The composition follows the Campanian convention of the man-faced bull type, closely related to issues of Hyria and other neighbouring cities. |
