Obverse description Facing head of Helios, turned slightly to the right, rendered in high relief with characteristic radiating, wind-swept curls framing the youthful, idealised face. The deity's hair flows dynamically outward in all directions, filling the field to the coin's edge. The modelling of the facial features — broad forehead, almond-shaped eyes, straight nose, and slightly parted lips — reflects the accomplished die-cutting tradition of the Rhodian mint during the early Hellenistic period. No inscription appears on the obverse.
