| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena in right profile, the goddess adorned with an earring and necklace. The Attic helmet features a prominent crest and is decorated with three olive leaves above the visor and a spiral palmette on the bowl, rendered in the classical Greek style characteristic of Bactrian coinage of the mid-third century BC. |

| Reverse description | Owl standing to right with head facing forward in the traditional Athenian type, the reverse field bearing the inscription AΘE before the bird. Behind the owl appear a kerykeion, a prow, and a grape bunch on a vine with leaf, the latter two elements serving as distinctive symbols that differentiate this Bactrian imitative issue from its Athenian prototypes. |
