Beschrijving voorzijde	A hound, rendered in fine archaic style, stands to the right atop a stag's head and seizes it firmly by the nose; the composition conveys dynamic tension between predator and prey. In the upper field to the right, a male head facing right represents a river-god, possibly the local deity Krimisos, rendered with characteristic Sicilian artistic refinement. The flan is irregular, as is typical of hammered Sicilian silver coinage of this period.
