Obverse description Diademed head of a nymph facing left, her hair elaborately dressed and bound with a stephane, with curling locks falling to the neck. A pendant earring adorns the ear, and a small oenochoe (wine jug) symbol appears in the lower right field. The portrait is rendered in fine Campanian style with naturalistic facial features and high relief. A dotted border encircles the design.
