Obverse description Female head in profile facing left or right, hair bound in a broad sphendone or headband, adorned with a triple-pendant earring and a beaded necklace. The facial features are rendered in the refined South Italian Greek style of the late fifth to early fourth century BC, with carefully delineated hair locks framing the face.
