| Reverse description | Reverse field heavily corroded and encrusted with green cuprite patina, largely obscuring the device. Visible elements include a bold cross-like or geometric motif in raised relief occupying the central field, accompanied by a row of pellets or globular ornaments arranged to the left. The design is characteristic of the schematic, locally-produced coinage of the Kota Kula principality. Strike is irregular and flan edges are rough, consistent with hand-hammered production. Additional legends or symbols, if present, are no longer legible due to surface corrosion. |
