Reverse description Owl standing to right with head facing front, rendered in the Athenian tradition; behind the owl, a ship's prow is depicted along with a grape bunch on a vine with a leaf, referencing Bactrian local iconographic additions to the Athenian prototype. The abbreviated ethnic AΘE (for Athenian) appears to the left in the field. The composition closely follows the classical Athenian New Style tetradrachm reverse type, adapted here to the didrachm format in a Bactrian imitative series.
