| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, rendered in the Athenian style; the goddess wears an earring and necklace, and her crested Attic helmet is decorated with three olive leaves above the visor and a spiral palmette on the bowl. The portrait exhibits the stylized yet vigorous engraving characteristic of Bactrian imitative coinage of the mid-third century BC. The neck is cleanly truncated, set against a plain field. |
