背面描述	Head of a local nymph or deity facing right, depicted with elaborately braided and beaded hair bound with a diadem or fillet, rendered in fine archaic to early classical style. A large earring is visible at the ear. The legend MEΓEΣ-TA-Z-IB is partially distributed around the periphery of the field in Greek characters, identifying the city of Segesta. The modeling of the face is sensitively executed, reflecting the high artistry of Sicilian die engravers of the period.
