Reverse description Within a beaded inner circle, a male bust in right profile, depicted with cropped hair and draped armour at the shoulder, rendered in the late Gothic style typical of Swiss hammered silver coinage of the 1480s. The portrait is bold and slightly rough in execution, consistent with hand-engraved dies of the period. The surrounding outer legend in Gothic uncial lettering bears the inscription SANCTVS, referencing the patron saint of the city, separated by cross and stop punctuation.
