Obverse description A lion advancing to the right in the central field, depicted in a naturalistic style characteristic of Phoenician-Cypriot coinage of the 4th century BC. Above the lion, a small globule or pellet is visible in the upper field. The flan is irregular and slightly rough, consistent with hammered bronze production. The design occupies the majority of the coin's surface with minimal border decoration.
