| Beschrijving voorzijde | Youthful head of Heracles facing right, clad in the Nemean lion's skin headdress, the scalp tied beneath the chin with the forepaws knotted at the neck. The die-work is rendered in the Hellenistic manner with softly modeled facial features typical of late Antigonid bronze coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with a dark green patina obscuring portions of the relief. |
